What counts as 'the day we got together'?
Whatever you two agree on. Most couples count from the day they made it official; some from the first date or the first kiss. Long-distance couples sometimes count from the first video call that ran past midnight. The calculator doesn't judge — it just counts.
Milestones worth marking
100 days is the first one people celebrate (it's big in Korea and among Filipino couples, where the monthly 'monthsary' is also a thing). 365 days is the first anniversary. 1,000 days lands at about 2 years and 9 months and tends to sneak up on people. 10,000 days is a little over 27 years — plan the party early.

How is the number of months calculated?
Calendar months: from the 14th of one month to the 14th of the next is one month, regardless of how many days that month has. Days are the remainder after full months.
Does it handle leap years?
Yes — it counts real calendar days between the two dates, so February 29ths are included.
